GYTY53
The GYTY53 Cable structure consists of optical fibers inserted into loose tubes made of high-modulus material. The loose tubes are filled with a waterproof compound. At the center of the cable core is a metal reinforcing core. For certain core counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the metal reinforcing core. The loose tubes (and filler ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round cable core. The gaps within the cable core are filled with a water-blocking filler. A polyethylene inner sheath is extruded over the cable core, and after being longitudinally wrapped with double-sided plastic-coated steel tape, a polyethylene outer sheath is extruded to form the cable.

Suitable for overhead pipelines and direct burial installations, long-distance communications, and especially suitable for environments with high requirements for mechanical strength and rodent control.
